How you can help

Volunteer

We can always use funds. We are unpaid and unsubsidized. See why your donations are so important to us.

For a suggested amount you can sponsor an animal of your choice. For more information and/or to sponsor an animal go here.

This quick small act will help our organization and it doesn't cost you a penny. Enroll your Smith's Card

It's easy: click here for an instructional video, then go to the Smith's website to sign in or register.

Another easy way to help is buy on Amazon Smile (part of Amazon). The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to us.

On your first visit to AmazonSmile smile.amazon.com, you need to select "Second Chance Wildlife Rehabilitation" (the one in Helper) for donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. You only need to do this once, Amazon will remember your selection.

Another way to donate: we have a list of items we can use. If you happen to have any of these to spare, please contact us.

We welcome volunteers. The kind of work we have for you:

  • Transportation of animals

  • Cleaning mews and kennels

  • Housing maintenance

  • Experience with fundrasing?

Interested in any of these? Please, call (435) 650-3441 or contact us here

Please, teach your children not to harrass wildlife. If you find an animal that seems to be ill or injured, call someone immediately. In Utah, the Division of Wildlife Recourses are the people to call (801-538-4700). They will notify the closest rehabilitator and hopefully, a life can be saved.
